Thomas Bauers receives Ulrich Babel Prize of the German Soil Sience Society (DBG)

Our member Thomas Bauer was awarded the prestigious Ulrich Babel Prize at the annual meeting of the German Soil Science Society (DBG) 2015. This prize is awarded to young researchers for PhD or publication work in the field of image analysis for soil science. Thomas Bauer submitted his PhD „Image analysis as a methodological tool for soil erosion studies“ at the institute for Hydraulics and Rural Water Management of BOKU University, Vienna. His work has been supported substantially by LandisWater.
